Living Black:
Conversations and Events
Living Black at university: Anti-racist praxis beyond the curriculum, edited by ‘Teleola Cartwright, Dr Nick Cartwright and Osaro Otobo, will be published by Manchester University Press on 15 December 2026. You can pre-order your copy here.
But Living Black at university is more than a book. It is an invitation to conversation, reflection and action.
To celebrate its publication, we're bringing the ideas, experiences and challenges explored in the book to universities and communities through a series of launches, talks, panel discussions and other events. Together with our contributors and guests, we'll explore what it means to move beyond commitments to equality and towards meaningful anti-racist change in higher education.
Everyone attending one of our events can enjoy 30% off the book's list price using the discount code EVENT30.
Explore our upcoming events for 2026 below. We'd love you to join the conversation.
